Couponing & Saving Money

The Secrets Of The True Coupon Clipping Champ

This is too simple, easier than you think. I taught myself, so with help there is no reason you can not do it too!
The first key is coupon match ups! Don't spend hours after hours trying to walk through the store rummaging through piles of clipped coupons, let others do the work for you!
So here is how it works....

If you want to shop at Wal-Mart than you would go to Google and type in
Wal-Mart (the store you plan to go to) 11-12-12 (The most recent Sunday's date) Coupon Match up
It will bring up lots of links that will show you all the sales matched with the current coupons to give you the best prices.
I will be posting lots of my own match ups and deals on here as well so make sure you keep your eyes open!

Next, look for stores that double or even triple! When coupon values double it almost impossible to not find good deals and lots of times free deals when the items are on sale

Another very important step is to NOT buy stacks of newspapers. I normally get one paper every Sunday just so I have one of every coupon but even if that paper has the best coupon ever I am not paying $3.00 per paper. The key is to order coupons. Go on Ebay or Coupon Clipping Services websites and order the particular coupons you need. I normally pay $1.00 for 10-20 of the same coupon instead of $3.00 for a paper that has a bunch of coupons I will not even use

There are certain months when certain items go on sale and you should stock up. This is how you get a stockpile. For example, ketchup will not be free every single week. But, around Memorial Day you should be able to score some free or next to free ketchup and since it does not expire quickly, you should clear the shelf and get you years worth. Keep your eyes open, I will be sharing the items to buy in each month soon.

So, putting all the steps together and making a plan...it should go like this
On Sunday google the coupon match ups for your local stores. Find out what deals you want and need. Than go to EBay or coupon clipping services websites and order the coupons you need for those deals. When the coupons arrive, go save some money!

Another trick is some stores let you stack a manufacturer coupon with their store coupon. So at Target you could use a coupon from your local paper and a store coupon for the exact same item. I have scored many extremely cheap diapers this way.

Remember, be patient! Like all new things, it takes time to learn and become an expert. My first few couponing trips were small. At first I got one or two things free but it became an addiction and I would work harder and harder to earn more free items every time I went. I became obsessed with watching the total go up before the coupons and down down down once I handed the coupons over.

Please leave lots of comments with questions so I can help you become an expert couponer!
